Today in poetry we read a poem called "Peace" that was written by a third grade student. The author of the poem described her idea of a peaceful world to her audience. After we read the poem, we drew a picture of what we saw in our mind when we were reading. Then we wrote our own peace poems. At the end of our poetry time, each student chose their favorite line or stanza from their peace poem to share with you. Enjoy!
